FASTER takes players from diagnosed injury all the way to performance, and includes prevention of new injuries as part of the route. We believe that you need to have symmetry in movement, power to get out of positions of danger, strength in range to get into positions of danger (or performance) and all this in a way that is unique to you.
FASTER has a 60/20/20 rule, where we believe that 60% of performance is enough for most people most of the time, but what makes you great at your sport is the 20% you require to get away from an injury situation, and the 20% that will get you to the ball first, over the line first, or the sprint finish you did not expect to need…
Rehabilitation
In order to recuperate fully, an athlete needs to condition the parts of the body that are involuntarily incapacitated or under-used while an injured area recovers. This is where FASTER excels.
Using our revolutionary HMACIV(Holistic Movement Analysis Chart) to get down your ideal movements without injury, and then matching them to a set of specifically written exercises and movements, we ensure you do not lose performance in the non-injured muscles. We also use these movements to keep your other energy systems in peak condition in readiness.
Our assessment procedures include using the latest software, including Kinesio Capture and – in the near future – an assessment lab designed by Mark Hines MSc, which will compare new movements, with the efficiency of muscle action, using EMGs.
The techniques we use to keep performance and range in your body, while protecting the injury, include:
FASTER Functional Therapy
Assisted Dynamic Stretch
Assisted Dynamic Sequencing
Fascial Manipulation
Tool Assisted Massage (FAKTR techniques)
Fascial Influence Techniques

Tool Assisted Massage to maintain foot mobility
Injury Prevention
To stay injury free, then you need to test yourself to the limits, getting yourself as close to symmetrical as possible. FASTER takes you to the places you need to reach in order to be almost 100% injury proof, and makes you strong in these ranges at competition speeds with loads close to and beyond those that will occur in your sport.
We use Kinesio Capture to assess our clients, taking advantage of its frame by frame analysis. We then use leading edge loading equipment, such as the TRX, ViPR and CoreTex.
Our assessment of our injury prevention clients is as thorough as with our injury rehabilitation clients, as we believe that asymmetries hide better in a fit client than in a client with a known injury.

High Performance
This is the 20% that makes the difference, and is the hardest to help someone find. FASTER leans on its HMACIV to find the exact movements that are required for high end performance, and then uses the correct loading system and technique to find that extra level of performance. We use our in-depth knowledge of energy systems, loading, and biomechanics, and combine this with years of experience to design the perfect programme for you.
One of the main advantages we have at FASTER is our ability to call on the large pool of experts we have worldwide, to make sure that our clients receive the world’s best and most up to date advice, all checked by our PhD Sports Scientist.
We programme for clubs and individuals and build around a season of games, a specific competition or whatever other requirements you may have. Our planning system is up to date, not steeped in 1970s sports science mythology, and unlike systems employed by many other sports performance companies, ours is built in a fluid way, which reflects the client’s individual progress.
